Rootd Launches Sundarban-Inspired Fashion Collection Focused on Sustainable Style

A new fashion label called Rootd is bringing a fresh approach to modern clothing by combining comfort, sustainability, and traditional craftsmanship. Founded by Aishwarya Bobbili, the brand focuses on slow fashion, natural fabrics, and thoughtful design.

The debut collection, inspired by the beauty of the Sundarbans, features easy-to-wear pieces designed for everyday life. The collection includes relaxed shirts, flowy dresses, camisoles, shorts, culottes, and layering jackets that can be mixed and matched effortlessly.

Drawing inspiration from the world's largest mangrove ecosystem, the designs feature nature-inspired elements such as mangrove leaves, flowers, wildlife, honey bees, and water landscapes. These details are brought to life through hand block printing, natural dyes, and traditional embroidery techniques.

Rootd uses handwoven cotton and linen fabrics created in collaboration with artisan communities. The brand also focuses on small-batch production, encouraging mindful consumption and long-lasting fashion choices.

With its blend of contemporary silhouettes and handcrafted details, the Sundarban-inspired collection highlights how sustainable fashion can be both stylish and comfortable for modern wardrobes.
